Great Lakes Fleets - ONTARIO - Royals 2010 SOCIAL & SAIL PAST - May 22 - 60 crew from 11 boats

4 boats have joined the RCYC Flotilla for 2010 and 3 of these are new to our Greater Toronto Squadron !

These 4 represent very nearly one third of the 15 boats that joined the yacht Club's fleet for the 2010 season.


Commodore George & Donna Meadows joined almost 30 crew from a number of the other 14 RCYC Flotilla boats.


The import of this "infusion" of boats is that Royal Canadian YC and Mimico Cruising C will both have 15 yachts moored at their clubs this season. Royal Canadian will have another 3 boats, moored elsewhere, also on this club's fleet roster.

Hello Arthur,

Brenda and I will be delighted to join you on the Storm Dock to welcome the new arrivals at 10:10 hrs. I trust that you will have a serious discussion with Zeus to delay the T-storms scheduled for the 22nd until after dinner. We can't soak our Commodore for two years in a row on Sail Past day!! Good Commodores are hard to find.

Barb and I will try to make it, but it is a busy day and the weather forecast is not positive! If we do, champagne for one only please, I don‘t enjoy it so don‘t drink it!

Hi Arthur,

I don’t know how you keep track of all this stuff and arrange everything. Thanks for doing it and both of us plan to be there on Saturday. Charles is on a business trip to Calif. and is arriving by red eye Sat morning and leaving Sat eve late. So that makes at least three of us.
