Lunenburg Yacht Club . Aug 31 - Sep 1

George & Kate Archibald hosted the 2007 Rendezvous. Crews competed Friday & Saturday with a number heading home on Sunday.

The galley crew of Lunenburg Yacht Club served a terrific roast beef buffet dinner Saturday night and received a grand round of applause for the lovely presentation and excellent food. Many prizes were provided by generous sponsors and were enjoyed by all the crews.

George Archibald spoke of the year's activites and the great participation of many crews and the contributions of many. He also spoke about the 2008 International Rendezvous in Newport RI

North West Nonsuch/Niagara has for years held an annual 'de facto CanAm' Rendezvous. Great Lakes Nonsuch held it's first 'named CanAm' Rendezvous on West-Lake Ontario this September. 'De facto CanAm' Rendezvous have been held on East-Lake Ontario since 2001. Arthur Langley spoke of and received interest regarding an alternating year, home and away, annual East Coast CanAm Rendezvous alternating year by year between Nova Scotia and Maine with crews hosted aboard boats when they are visiting. Boats would of course be very welcome to travel and participate. More development work is necessary and news will follow in the early New Year.
