Until 2007 NUTSHELL was on the U.S. east coast. As of early 2008 she sails from Seattle WA in the U.S. north west.

This 40 was built with a cutter sailplan, which her original owner preferred and commissioned. She is a fast, practical and comfortable cruiser in the distinctly classic style of Godon Fisher's original Nonsuch design.

Constructed to a high standard by Tania Yachts (?), her interior joinery is a reflection of her pedigree and overall quality of construction. She was fitted out and her systems installed by Wiggers Yachts east of Toronto ON.

Her spacious two cabin layout comfortably accommodates two couples for extended cruising, with additional sea berths in the main salon. The forward and aft cabins each have a separate head with shower.

On deck, her comfortable cockpit and simple systems make boat sail and handling a breeze.

NUTSHELL is equipped with Seafrost refrigeration, Espar diesel heater, removable dinghy davits, 1750 watt inverter, Bosch propane hot water system, Stack-Pack main and roller furling genoa.
