Under agreement with Mark Ellis Design, Wiggers Yachts http://www.wiggerscustomyachts.com/ in Bowmanville, east of Toronto on West-Lake Ontario is building the 33W in semi-custom, limited production and as kits. Any of the other models can also be had if you are willing to open your wallet wide enough !

"Dock talk" indicates nine or ten have been built but Wiggers will not provide info about how many 33Ws have been built nor where the boats have gone.


Current price for a very limited production, semi-custom 33W is CDN $240,000 . . . BARE BOAT.

By comparison, when introduced in early 1988 the 33 sold for slightly over CDN $130,000. Factored just for inflation, that price in 2008 would be about CDN $230,000. However oil prices and thus resin prices have grown much more dramatically. Adding this additional inflationary factor brings us to a price of over CDN $260,000.

Upwind not quite. Off the wind should be a bit better.

You can have any cabin layout your wallet desires.

There is no classic 30. There is a 30 Classic (and a 26 Classic). The 33, 354, and 33W have virtually identical cockpit size as the 30C.

Is the shoal draft boat really 4'6" can it keep up with the 5 '4" draft model?
Is there another cabin lay out? Is the quarter berth really comfortable for two adults?
Is the cockpit as big as the nonsuch classic 30?
