ELEPHANT KC 2 is one of the original four 30s that all hailed from the RCYC. She was commissioned by Gordon's friend Fred Eaton. Without question Fred picked one of the most classic and elegant looking colour schemes ever put on a boat. Gordon's friend and professional associate John Rothwell later bought her from Fred. Many years later John sold her to the Andersons.

Tony & Louise also sail ELEPHANT from the Royal Canadian YC in Toronto, Ontario. Their son Giles and his wife Leanne McCarthy also sail her with their young children.

This boat AGAIN (!) won the 30 Class, most recently at the Toronto 2006 Rendezvous
