NONSUCH - late 1600s sail boat used to help found a commercial empire that became a nation, Canada, and a company that still operates today . . . the Hudson's Bay Company or commonly now The Bay.


NONSUCH - late 1900s custom sail boat conceived, designed, commissioned, owned, and named after the above historic sail boat . . . by Gordon Fisher. Fisher hired Mark Ellis to draw his design. The success of Fisher's design made Ellis widely known and respected as a designer.
