N Ridge is on the R; NE face is to the L.

Full Moon Rising was named by John Roper, who spotted it in 1978 from the distant
south and noticed the lunar resemblance. The peak was climbed in 1925 by a US Coast & Geodetic
Survey party, and was initially (and incorrectly) identified as 'Frosty'.
