The first and last week of school are always unbelievably busy for me. I didn't go to school today but instead collasped after about ten days of room preparation, professional development, leading my entire school in professional inservice on school web page design and didn't do much of anything. I take that back, I took seven kids to the grocery store (had some visiting kids) and mowed my front lawn.

Anyway this shot is from last week. The sunflowers are a great cheer to me this week. And the kids are always my great cheer.
