HDR images

I've recently started playing with HDR tonemapped imaging. These are usually produced from five bracketed shots from my Nikon D200. The colours and tonal values tend to be very unrealistic after using Photomatix, ie: colours over-saturated and shadows compressed, so I usually process again in Photoshop.

These images are some of the most original I've seen on PBASE - your brain tries to assess whether these are photographs or illustrations and they have the best qualities of both. Absorbing & fascinating to look at and just the right touch of vibrant colour.
