Suilven

No its not a Munro, its not even high enough to be a Corbett, but if there's a better looking mountain in Britain to be on top of, I don't know of it. A stunning day's walking in Assynt, which makes you philosophical about the whole "munro-bagging" thing.

as you say, its the shape and prospect as much as the height and there is the odd day (!) in Scotland where the cloud gets a bit too low for it to make no sense to go higher

I like every one of your images but this one stands out. Its unusual viewpoint makes it much more impressive than many pictures of Suilven. And Suilven is , as you say, the best looking mountain in Britain.
