We have just returned from a great vacation in Brugge, Belgium. Like many towns and cities across Europe, Brugge has a Christmas market running during December.

Whilst the Christmas markets in Belgium may not quite be up to the same standard as those found in France and Germany, where Brugge scores very highly are the shops on and especially off the beaten track. You can find Christmas everywhere in Brugge and the people are very friendly.
