Just a few railroad photos taken over the years around Plattmouth, Nebraska, where I lived for 21 years. Will be adding photos over time. Plattsmouth was the home of the old BREX shops for over 100 years, building refrigrator cars for the CB&Q Railroad, and precessors. All facilities were all torn down in the late 1970s. It is the home of the Plattsmouth Cut, which changed the route to a more gentle route in from the bridge to town...was cut in the hills about 1975 or so.
