My Days in Base Fuels@.Lincoln AFB, Nebraska 1965

Photos are of Base Fuels operations, tank farm, truck delivery, pump houses on the flightline, along with some photos of the B-47s stationed there. At the time, LAFB was the largest SAC base in the world, with 2 full Bomb Wings, and an Atlas F ICBM field around Lincoln. The tanker loading photos in late 1965, was due to closing out LAFB and moving 6 million gallons of left over jet fuel to Offutt AFB. More photos will be added in time..
