This ex-Missouri Pacific depot used to sit by the elevator nearby
to the east. It was moved west several blocks, in the mid 60s,
but still was on rr right of way.. Someone bought it, and used it
to store new truck tires for a station down on US36.. about 1973-74,
they started to repaint the depot, but it was not finished, as the
railroad demanded more $$ for lease on the land. Owner then decided
to tear it down..
