Poseidon Temple in Sounio

Poseidon or Neptune in Latin, was the sea god in ancient times. His temple was erected on the extreme south end of the Attica peninsula, cape Sounion, overseeing the Aegean Sea. This is how it looks on a cold December day, without the crowds of visitors.
