I've employed the "dream" effect to many of the flowers, since they often seem to benefit from it; although it does seem to be hit and miss sometimes.
Any filename with "_dream" on it has had the effect applied to it.
I only have Photoshop Elements, but the technique should be possible with PSP.
1. Create a new layer as a background (so there's now 2 copies of the image on separate layers)
2. On the new layer, use the Gausian blur to 20-30%
3. Then use one of the layering options to combine the two. Depending on how dark the picture is, I might use Overlay, Multi, or something else. I don't know what it's called on PSP, but it's basically how you merge multiple layers into one.
4. Then, complete post-processing to your tastes. Sometimes, you might want to lighten or darken, etc.

Question on the Dream effect. How do you do this. I only have Photo Editor, and
Paint Shop Pro 7. I like the softening effect, how can one do this?
Thanks.
