Llangollen Railway

The Aeron Valley Railway Society arranged a trip on 25th April 2009 to visit the Llangollen Railway some 80 miles to the North. The coach left at 08:00 hrs from Aberystwyth, we stopped at Dolgellau for a coffee break and arrived at Llangollen at 10:15, we then collect our tickets. Having had good weather we just two sharp short showers during the day, we departed at 18:00 hrs. We stopped again in Dolgellau for a previously arranged meal. Arriving back at 22:30 hrs.

Great shots Roger. We saw a steam train yesterday and were trying to follow it so I could get a shot on the bridge a couple of miles down the road. However the traffic lights had us sat on red for ages and we missed it completely!
