Sadly time has taken its toll, we spent a good part of the day removing rotting timbers and packing away his large collection of rolling stock.

A sad day to see the demise of the rail set up, it must have provided so many hours of fun and pleasure, but nothing stays the same does it?

It did have a good long run, with many good times to look back on. Sad though when such enjoyable traditions end. . . .

Sadly due to his wife's long term illness, he has not had the time to maintain it, you can see the brambles are already taken over. We were running trains up to September 2013.
