Mr. Hirokawa was a great father to my best friend, Yuki and her sister Metti as well as a great husband to his lovely wife, Vicki. He was also the perfect Grandfather, or "Poppy," to his two beautiful granddaughters. I knew Mr. Hirokawa but I was unfortunate to realize only at his funeral just how much he gave to the world and then asked for nothing in return.
He is greatly missed and I am honored to have been in his presence and to be his daughter's close friend.
