Hi James,

I use a Canon 400D and a 60mm macro lens for the moths. A tripod and cable release are a must if you are going down this route because of the long exposure times. If you click on 'full exif' under the images it will give you the settings for each shot. I haven't got the technique totally worked out as I'm relatively new to photography, but the main thing to do is to experiment.

Good luck and if I can be of any more help please let me know.

Hi Nigel,
What sort of kit do you use for the pictures of the moths? I'd like to look at taking some pictures of various insects (mainly moths) and would be very interested to know.
Thanks
James
