This species occurs in mountains and forests of Europe, Asia and North America.
The Spanish race may weight about 200-250 kg (male), whereas bears living in Kamchatka or Kodiak Island in North America can reach up to 700 kg for the largest ones.
Here we can see adults and young bears. The young are playing and learning to fight together.
They are guarded by some females which maintain the rules among the young's group.
