Impressive colony of Great Cormorants on the rivers of Monfragüe Park
They spend hours each day flying in large flocks, in V-formation or in long undulating lines.
Over water, they fly low over the surface, but over land or during longer flights, they travel at great heights.
The flight is powerful with regular, continuous wingbeats sometimes interspersed with occasional glides.
