In April 1998, I spent a week camping in the Canadian Artic, with my friend Eddie Greenland. He is from Aklavik in the Northwest Territories. We were looking for Grizzly Bears and other wildlife. However, the Seasons were late and it was still too cold, with the temperature at around -2C to -4C the wildlife was still hibernating. Nevertheless, we did have a good time on the Skidoo in the Snowy Wilderness.
I had been camping in April, the year before for a week, and then the temperature was around -39C. Due to the extreme cold, my camera had seized up and I did not get any photos.
