So much revolves around the markets in Cambodia's Capital, Phnom Penh. Food, life, bargains, work, and social intercourse. my daughter is volunteering in phnom penh and e.mailed me that today she is visiting central and russian market. these pics are fantastic and keep me in virtual touch with what she is doing and experiencing.

Very nice gallery Nick. Markets are always a great place to get in contact with the 'locals'. I also always go to a local market when I'm traveling.

As I viewed your slideshow, what I was "seeing" at the beginning was very different to what I was "seeing" at the end. Thank you so much for sharing, you are right...the market you captured is a very foreign world for me...but I can certainly identify with the expressions you have captured.
