After rediscovering real photography (and not just snap shots) in 2006, I rediscovered my love of film cameras - long forgotten. Although the Canon 5D gives me just about everything I could want in a camera, I enjoy experimenting with film.

This has led to another (sometimes costly) hobby. I love the look and feel of film cameras and have started collecting them, particularly classic or vintage film cameras. My aim is not just to own, look at, display or photograph my collection of film cameras, but to use them. I intend to run at least one film through every one of my growing collection, and to display the photographs taken in the gallery of each camera here. Not every camera I have bought works, and some might not take good enough photographs, but I try to only buy cameras that work and I won't feel i have really added it to my collection until I have used them.
