Canon EF -S 10-22mm f3.4-4.5 USM

I bought this because I wanted more wide angle on my 350D. This lens cost about £500, but it IS worth it if you don't, like me, go out and buy full frame. I was impressed with the quality and sharpness of this lens. Went on a short weekend break to the Lake District to take photos and this was the main lens I used, and I think I have taken my best photographs with it. I use it with a x4 HD filter. If you want a very wide angle for cropped sensor only buy this one. At 22mm you can also use this for some general photography too.

Love all your jetty shots. mesmerising and enchanting. Am also considering the 10-22 and this has pretty much made up my mind.

Nice shots - I just ordered this lens and thought maybe I had made a mistake given some of the shots on this web site which are really not very sharp. Your shots restored my confidence that the lens is OK - it's the photgraphers that need to improve ther technique.
