Burrator, Devon, Panoramic

Panoramic stitch of 6 images. I've not been back to Devon in over a decade, and I'd forgotten quite how awesome the scenery is, I wish I had more time to spend here, I only stopped on the way to the M4 back to London. Shame, although it was apsolutley fricking freezing below zero. Quite weirdly an ex-pro-photographer walked up from no where, and gave me loads of tips on using my manfrotto pano-head - which was about as random as it gets really, but much appreciate so thanks to random stranger Rob. :) As it's actually a lot trickier than I thought it would be to set it up.

Very nice! I love the colors and the wide expansive view! Reminds me a bit (except for the grey rocks) of where I grew up in Prescott Arizona. :)

It's quite tricky actually, as you can see on the right hand side the sky is a little blown out. You have to set the exposure / focus on the first shot and then not change it all the way around the axis. The best way to do it is even more of a head ache, actually take two exposures per shot, merge the sky and foreground of each one, and then stitch them - eurgh! :)

Nick, that's magnificent! Was it hard to get the exposures even? GMV, by the way.
