Caerphilly Castle

I am still learning new techniques in photoshop, I find it quite difficult to draw paths around the foreground this one is okay, but could do with some tweaking, you can just make out some faint white lines around the edges of the castle in places. I have a polorizing filter on the way, which should mean that this won't be so neccesary.

Caerphilly Castle, covering an area of 30 acres, is the largest castle in Wales and one of the biggest in all of Britain.

In 1268, 'Red Gilbert' de Clare, Lord of Glamorgan, began building the castle to defend contested land during his conflict with Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Prince of Wales. The castle is a magnificent example of a medieval concentric design, with the curtain wall of the inner central ward surrounded by an outer curtain wall which is surrounded by water defences and in some places by even more walls.

striking photo the tones used are really good, not sure about the ducks though, does not seem to fit the rest of the photo.

The tones are nice but, the lighting on the castle is great, as well as the boldness of the clouds!
