Pictures from my hometown Middelburg (Zeeland, Netherlands). Middelburg is more than 1000 years old and has many monumental buildings, most of them from the 17/18th century when the city was a major commercial centre. The VOC, the first multinational corporation in the world, was based in both Amsterdam and Middelburg. Middelburg is also the city where the telescope was invented, 400 years ago (in 1608).

Many of these pictures can be found in my Middelburg Photobook that you can order online from most countries in paperback or a larger hardcover version. The book features many full page color photographs and a short history of the city (in Dutch, also available in Spanish). Customised versions of these books can be produced upon request.
