We departed Ljubljiana around noon time. The weather was so-so for travel. The skies were gray with lite fog every now and then. It was getting dark by the time we enter Florence. Our host was waiting for us to show up. She introduced the apartment to us, talked about what to do and not to do during our stay, gave us some maps and tips about the city and left us to fresh up. Within half an hour we were ready to walk toward the center for first impressions.
