This picture has been taken from the window of restaurant Shtastlivetsa ( http://www.bgglobe.net/index.php?s=-629&l=0 ), where we stopped to have lunch. The view is toward the monument of the Asenev's. The first two horsemen are the brothers Tsar Asen and Tsar Peter. The horsemen behind are Tsar Kaloian and Tsar Ivan-Asen II. The four Bulgarian Tsars under the rule of whom the country has been the most prosperous. The monument is comemorating 800 years from the second Bulgarian kingdom.
