Though a 10-hour pelagic trip we were scheduled to go on was canceled due to TS Hanna, we still managed to get out on a 4-hour whale watch. It was truly an amazing experience and we saw many very active Humpback Whales. You'd be surprised at how difficult it is to shoot a 20-30 ton animal! You could scarcely predict where they would breach, but it was breathtaking. Stellwagen Bank is where the action is, and I did manage to see a few Sooty and Cory's Shearwaters. I only wish we could have been out there longer and can't wait to get out there again.
