Manasquan Inlet, NJ. One of my favorite birds. This big gull breeds across coastal Alaska and far northern Canada. Also found in Greenland, Iceland, and across Arctic Eurasia. Most of the Glaucous Gulls that show up here in winter are juveniles, including this first winter bird.
