I'm a fifty-many yr old (born in 1954) Brazilian engineer and have become a hobbyist photographer some years ago.
I have not attended to any photo course, just have read some books, try looking at so many photos as I can and (the most important) shoot, shoot, shoot.
My first digital camera was a Sony Cibershot P5. When I decided to become a hobbyist, I bought a Canon EOS 350D (Rebel XT). Afterwards I've replaced it for a Canon EOS 30D and now I also own a Canon 5D Mk II. I have made some investment in good Canon lenses, including a EF 17-40 f/4L, a EF-24-105 f/4L IS (terrific glass, my workhorse now) and a EF 70-200 f/4L IS.
I'd like to receive comments - either you have or not enjoyed my pics.
When I can take vacations, I like to travel and, of course, shoot, shoot, shoot...
My only complain is that I don't have so much time as I'd like to photograph.
I bought a Panasonic DMC-LX3 too, an excellent camera to carry on everywhere.
Recently I've bought an Olympus OM-D E-M5 micro four thirds camera with two Olympus zoom lenses (12-50 and 40-150) and a Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25 mm. I intend to use this gear when travelling because it's smaller, lighter and more discreet than my Canon camera and lenses.
People is definitely what I like to picture.
I hope to keep taking photos and exposing them here. If you like them, tell your friends. If you don't like them, tell me.
