Too close for comfort

What you see in the right hand side of this shot is Mike. I'm squeezed in behind him, both of us perched on these rocks trying not to jump ship as these sheep continue to mill around us, getting closer and closer! I do remember asking Mike if he thought we were ok...should we go OR WHAT !! Nada. Meaning no response. I started wondering if shock had set in. Maybe he was thinking over the situation and hadn't come to a conclusion yet...hmmmm. Then I realized two things...he was in front (hence, the ram buffer) and I could run faster - well, only because I was willing to throw my camera and tripod to the four winds and slide down the mountain for all I was worth. I'm not sure he was willing to sacrifice his camera and that gorgeous lens. yep...I was safe. :)
