From Paradise Valley we continued north out of town following a dirt road up into the Santa Rosa mountains. Over Hinkey Summit down into the next valley heading back up to Windy Gap (betcha can't guess which photo was taken at Windy Gap), following along the ridge to the Buckskin Mountain residing at 8700 feet in elevation. I stepped out of the truck, walked 5 feet and became winded. :)
This is where the Firestone Opal Mine is located...at the very top of Buckskin.
I posted more photos than I had planned on but once again, the wildflowers were spectacular, the view simply breathtaking...how do you decide which photos to or not to post!
It was another fabulous roadie!
