Cowboys & The Horses They Rode In On

Cowboy life. Much has been written about it.

Being a cowboy is not just wearing a hat and spurs, it's a lifestyle,
a way of life; a code of living that's born in us and, for some,
whether we ever saddle a horse and ride the range the 'cowboy' spirit
is imbedded deep in our soul.

Day after day, life does go on ... I try not to pass up too many chances to
get out there with my camera.

Very beautiful gallery. I have never ride the horse, but I know people who positively sure, that life in saddle is haven. Great pictures in all ways!

When I look at these images I can almost envisage Zane Grey's novel "RIDERS OF THE PURPLE SAGE" coming to life in this western setting. One can almost see the Prolific American writer of the American West, here on location writing one of his famous novels. The American West a beautiful but harsh landscape takes special kinds of people to endure its hardships and even more so to those who can convey through photography the ruggedness and beauty of this sometimes hostile land.
