| Art and I traveled to Cambridge, MD the last weekend of October 2008. We were in search of migratory ducks, eagles, and anything else you might find in or near the Blackwater national wildlife area. We had two wonderful cloudless days to be outdoors. But that beautiful weather created very short prime lighting time. We saw very few ducks. We did see a number of eagles which were all well out of telephoto range except for two that landed in trees next to us, in the dark. Even though the photo ops weren't that good, we still had a great time being out in nature taking in the fresh air and the sounds of thousands of canadian and snow geese flying over our heads. |
