Just about all the bird images were or will be taken around our home, we support wild bird life by having shrubs and trees that support them for shelter and food.
To name a few , Holly trees, Winterberries, Dogwood trees , American Cranberry, Choke Berries, many Serviceberries , Oak trees , Riverbirch trees ,Sycamore ,700 foot of hedge row of wild growth, Abelias Grandiflora, Bittersweet Vine, Trumpet Honeysuckle vine,Verburnums, and many evergreen trees planted around our 5 acre property.
We are a registered BACKYARD WILDLIFE HABITAT with the NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION for about 10 years.
A small 6000 gallon pond with circulating water rounds out there life support.
We also have several feeding stations filled with sunflower, thistle, and a wild bird mix.
Peanut pieces and suet are a must for the Titmice,Junco's, Chickadees , Woodpeckers and Blue Jay as well as the other birds.
We also have 4 redwood Bluebird boxes placed in suitable locations to attract the Bluebirds , but it is a battle keeping the Sparrows out of them so the Bluebird can start a family.
The most current images will be at the top of the gallery page.
