Using <5mW Lasers for Focus

Some of the recent Sony Cameras take advantage of this technique with built-in laser projectors. Whilst they are useful in darkness to help the camera focus, they are also annoying when they fire straight into my eyes during conventions or conferences. But the Pro 1 can struggle to focus in lowlight or total darkness (like any other camera) when the zoom is employed because much of it's autofocus is based on contrast-detection. So I rigged a small <5mw laser pointer with an interchangeable head pattern to my Pro 1 using the Window Clamp I bought in Hawaii for $29.

I've also posted some of the results for you to see and a few pictures of lasers I've used in some of my experiments using hand-held pointers.
