Wow, I was looking for sample images of the Sigma 18-200 lens and then I find you. Do you remember me? We never met, but I was part of the yahoo continentals group years ago. Daniel, from Canada. Nice to see ya again. Check out my pictures at http://gallery.whogotdafunk.com - I've also got a Canon 350D. Currently I'm using a Canon 28-135 IS USM, but want something more wide-angle. Anyway, nice to find you. God bless, Daniel

Hey Anthony. Just stopped by to say hi and great job with your photography. I found your site through searching "VSA" in pbase. I've been looking for more student oriented photography (especially org based) for a while but never thought to look in pbase until now. I'm new to photography, but my site is pretty much dedicated to Vietnamese orgs and I have links to tons of other Vietnamese photographers... hope you can check them out sometimes. Cheers.

Hey nice pics. I see you upgraded from the S1 to the XT. The S1 is definitely a nice camera to learn on until getting a dSLR. I'm definitely gonna get a dSLR at some point but I'm cranking along with my trusty S1 until the 20D replacement comes out.

Excellent framing and composition, and good use of lighting on many of your images. I enjoyed looking at your gallery.

What is your opinion of your sigma 18-200? Do you find it sharp enough? Any negatives about it? I am considering this lens to go on my 20d.

Anthony, I stumbled into your gallery and was very impressed. I am considering the S2 IS as my next dc.

nice work... i noticed youre here in houston as well. i just started a forum at http://www.houstonphotogs.com/phpBB/ which fellow houston photographers can share their favorite photo locales and such. if it interests you, feel free to stop by and check it out. the site just opened so there are only a couple of locales on there now. hopefully we can get a pretty good houston turnout on there eventually.

Hi Antony, I had a question in the canon forum on a 7x7" picture for magazines with the s1. Your answer was excellent and gave me the necessary info. I decided to click on your link and really love your pics. You have the eye! Hope someday to do as good. Thanks again.

Hi, I came across your galleries as I'm a user of the Canon S1 like you. Some pretty impressive shots I must say. I'd just like to add that it's great that you participated in groups such as APASA which was non-existant in my old school days. No, I'm not from the States but do share the feelings of being an Asian in a foreign land. My family and I migrated to Australia in the 70s only a few years after the White Australia Policy was abolished. Needless to say there were some quarters of society who were less than pleased with non-whites coming into the country. I was one of the only four Asians in our entire school. If there were support groups such as APASA at the time, I reckon we would have felt a little bit more at home in Australia.

I wish you all the best at APASA and keep up the good work that you're all doing.

Regards.

Hi Anthony! I browse through your whole gallery (got your URL from dpreview) and I was very impressed with your work. I recently bought a Canon S1 IS and took a few shots since. I find your photography amazing and perhaps I can ask you a question regarding how to take a picture making the background blurry with a clear subject in the front and vice versa. I saw a few of this kind of shot in your gallery. I hope you can tell me how you did it. Thank you so much in advance.

Kind Regards,
Rainy
