Xiao Yee could not wait to visit the Ishiya Chocolate Factory on the 1st day when she stepped on the soil of Hokkaido. However, I managed to convince her that the lavender at Furano could not wait and we hence headed east instead. Now after making one round, we were back to Sapporo and Xiao Yee's dream had finally come true. The Ishiya was built like a castle with numerous nostalgic toy collections inside, not to mention the mouth-watering confectioneries and the sweet smell of chocolate in the air. Definitely a MUST visit for any female visitors of any age. The next destination was ESTA - a shopping complex with several floors of electronic goods. Initially i thought i could get my dream E-P3 there but what the heck - camera prices in Japan is more expensive than Singapore! We visited the Sapporo TV towel in the evening, and strolled along Otaru Park back to Hotel. We were amazed to see big tents housing thousands of people in the park, serving barrels of beer. Definitely reminded me of the German Beer Fest.
The road sign is everywhere!
Finally we arrived at Ishiya!
