Biei

I had high hope for Biei - the so called "most beautiful town in Japan". But after spending an afternoon driving through the recommended route, I was not highly impressed. May be it was due to the scorching sun? incorrect season? or the short time (about 4 hours) we spent here? It is still a charming place with lovely hills and slopes, but i just can't understand how it can be crowned as "most beautiful".
