July 29th, 2006 - A Fun Filled Day - "FARE THEE WELL!"

We arrived at the festival before 10am and thoroughly enjoyed the opening show. This is the third time of this year I visited the festival and the 4th time total counting the one last year. Finally I visited with the nice folks in person who left wonderful comments on my Renaissance Festival galleries.

I now have pictures of Captain Jack!

As you can see, I took a lot of photos that day and here are just a portion of them. I tried to include as many folks as possible as I will not be returning to the festival this year.


As it turned out, this was not the last weekend. The decided to extend one more weekend to make up for the rainy weekend. Unfortunately, I have already made plans so I was not able to attend the final final farewell of 2006 Colorado Renaissance Festival.

These are great photos of the festival this year, 2006. You seemed to have captured the most of the players and a few of the onlookers too. I miss seeing the camel ride, mostly because our jewelry store is just upwind from the camels. Come see us next year! Hearts of Angels... aka The Gem Cutter since 1985ish.

Nelson- The ending of festival is a sad time for us, and when I miss my friends, I can just come here. This is a wonderful gallery of memories that fills me with good cheer. Thank you SO much.

What an incredble gallery, yet again! And quite large this time, too! I'll be posting a link to here on the Colorado Renaissance performer's Yahoo group so everybody can see! Heh, now myself and the Legends of Sherwood people certainly can't complain about being left out. It was excellent to meet you this weekend! I really hope you had a good time, as I think this was one of the very best shows we've put on all year. Finally, I was wondering if I might beg permission to post a few of the pictures you took of me on my Myspace page. I will, of course, give all due credit to the photographer. Thanks very much!
