A new neighborhood ventured. It had a bad reputation which proved baseless. People met, were curious of us wanting to take pictures yet friendly.

When we immigrated to Canada, we lived in a neighbourhood like this. My aunt and uncle who lived in the posh part of town were appalled. Like the people of your photo, the people where we lived were hard working, kind, generous and friendly. I have nothing but fond memories of them. Thank you for the image and the memories it invokes. V
