Team River Runner Biathlon 2006

Click on the first picture (titled "Biathlon Practice on 11.04.2006") to see the 23 shots of the practice session on 11.04.06. The rest of the pictures here are of the Biathlon held at the Washington Canoe Club on 11.12.06. This is the second annual Team River Runner biathlon (run then paddle) held to promote awareness and raise funds for the organization. Team River Runner is a volunteer organization that helps members of the United States Armed Forces find health and healing through whitewater boating. In spite of the weather, the turnout was great and the competition heated up a bit this year as more of the area's athletes got involved. I attempted to get shots of everyone involved, athletes and volunteers working the event, but there were a lot of people working behind the scenes so my apologies to anyone I missed. This should be the final version unless I have gotten some names wrong or similar.
