Van Wingerden International holds an open house once a year in November. They are one of the largest flower operations in the United States, shipping plants all over the world. The facilities near Hendersonville, NC include 37 acres of climate-controlled greenhouses. Each November and December the company ships more than 1 million poinsettias from these greenhouse facilities!
