RUFFLED FEATHERS

Took this grab-shot through the front door side window. This pair regularly roosts on our front porch. Sometimes they are there with another pair. Unfortunately, they also like to do their "business" on the porch. If that keeps up, we're going to have a really nice Thanksgiving dinner! ISO 200. No PP noise reduction. Cropped and modified in PhotoShop 5.0. Hand held at 35mm equivalent of 48mm. Stabilizer setting #2. Other camera settings were: Contrast: +1; Sharpness: 0; Saturation: +1; Noise Reduction: 0.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18
1/80s f/3.2 at 7.9mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Great shot Bill! They almost look like ballerinas. Hey, don't shoot them. OK?

Nice catch, Bill! I have a request: Get a shot of a MALE turket with his tail feathers being displayed. I've never seen a male up here yet!
