Believe me or not, I have tried ISO 200 with flash on my girlf's FujiFilm F11 at my sitting room, similar sized as yours, I am very disappointed! ISO 100 stinks as everything in room are very dark.
To force the room as bright as this with F11, I would have to use ISO 400 but again, it is not great picture, a bit fuzzy and too much blown highlight with some CA!
Needless to say, Canon A540 with same sensor as your A700, is on the way over!
