I wasn't sure he was a cardinal, as I've never seen a male without his distinct "hairstyle". Either he's a "teenager", without the full growth of head feathers, or he had them folded back for some reason. Also, we rarely see the cardinals (male or female) on our feeders. They are predominately ground feeders.

Send him over here if he's a bachelor. My lady list her mate. He flew into my sliding door or window and lost hs life.
